平成28年度横須賀フォトコンテスト、観光協会賞、受賞作品です。海上自衛隊横須賀地方総監部の田戸台分庁舎の桜を写した一枚。京急県立大学駅の裏手、東京湾を一望する小高い丘の上にある田戸台分庁舎。 大正2年、旧海軍横須賀鎮守府長官の住まいとして建てられ、終戦まで34代の長官が居住しました。 敷地内に咲く桜はもちろん、文化財的価値の高い近代建築を見学することができます。 内部についても一部見学可能です。
