平成28年度横須賀フォトコンテスト入選作品です。太田和つつじの丘で撮られた一枚。大楠山から続く丘陵地帯の一画で、4月下旬から5月上旬まで、約5万本のツツジが斜面を鮮やかに染め上げます。 ヤマツツジ、キリシマツツジ、ヒラドツヅジなど約5万本のツツジが咲き誇ります。
