正式名称は「ナガハマ」ですが、地元の人たちは「ナハマ」と呼んでいます。 水の透明度は、市内の海岸の中でも指折りです。 広々とした砂浜は、のんびりとした雰囲気が漂い子供連れなどには最適です。 砂浜の左右に岩場があり、シュノーケリングにも適した海です。一年を通じてマリンスポーツのスポットとしても人気があり、 海水浴場開設期間中も遊泳区域外では、ウインドサーフィンやヨット、シーカヤックなどを楽しむ人たちで賑わっています。 また近くにはソレイユの丘や荒崎公園もあり遊びどころ満載です。長浜海岸から荒崎まで続く海沿いのハイキングコースは、三浦半島屈指の景観といわれる海岸美が存分に楽しめます。
